This is supporting: My daughter, Ella
A year and half into managing T1D and we are feeling a lot more comfortable with this disease BUT also know that we are in for a long slog. We have weeks where we will be getting up 3 or 4 times a night and making decisions that we hope don't send her low or kill her. Fun stuff.

That said, the T1D community is incredible! Parents hacking medical devices and sharing their findings with everyone. If you are going to get T1D, this is the best time in the world to get. Cures seem close and the technology to monitor and treat get better rapidly.

I really do hope for a day when my little girl doesn't have to be connected to medical devices to eat or sleep through the night safely!
